Board of Directors 2021 Nomination
As a membership-oriented organization, Calusa Waterkeeper’s bylaws allow any member to nominate a candidate for consideration for the Board of Directors. Because we will not be meeting in-person this year, we have outlined a nomination and election process as follows:
The nominating committee will assemble a slate of nominations to be voted on by the membership at-large. Voting will begin April 1st and conclude April 14th. Election results will be announced at our 2021 Annual Membership Meeting. This year’s Annual Meeting will take place via Zoom on Thursday, April 15th from 6:00 – 7:15 pm.
You must be a member in good standing to make a nomination and vote in our election process. A member in good standing is someone who has made a donation through our online membership campaign within the last 365 days. You can check your Membership Status by logging in and see if you donated to the membership campaign within the last year.
If you are not a current member, you may join the member-only meeting and vote, so long as you Become a Member before April 1, 2021.
The board nominations will be closed March 22nd, 2021.
