5:30pm – 7:00pm
Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife (CCFW) and the Cape Coral Wildlife Trust (CCWT) invite the community to attend a City Council Candidate Forum on September 23, 2024, at the Cape Coral Library, 921 SW 39th Terrace, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Environmental issues are increasingly important to the Cape Coral community as rapid development puts pressure on green space, local wildlife and their habitat. Learn more about the position of city council candidates so you can make an informed decision on November 5 when the next council is chosen.
All candidates running for city council office in the November 5, 2024 election have been invited to participate. The event will focus on wildlife and environmental issues in the City of Cape Coral. Candidates will have the opportunity to introduce themselves, answer questions and give a closing statement. Seating is limited so attendees must pre-register.
Those unable to attend in person may participate via Zoom. The meeting will also be recorded and available for viewing afterward. Due to time constraints, there will not be an audience question and answer period, however questions may be submitted beforehand on our website.
