Dr. David A. Davis to Headline CWK State of Our Water Meeting

Harmful algal blooms are on the rise, and our water systems are frequently affected by cyanobacterial blooms. These blooms produce toxins that cause neurodegeneration. At the same time, South Florida has the highest prevalence of Alzheimer’s disease in the United States. In this discussion, Dr. Davis will examine how exposure to algal toxins is impacting the health of residents in Florida.
