On February 7th, Cape Coral ERD will be putting on the 3rd annual Water Ways Festival. The Water Ways Festival is Cape Coral’s largest community outreach event and aims to:
- Educate the public about local, regional, and global environmental issues and encourage good
environmental practices - Bring together local government agencies, non-profits, and educational organizations for environmental
and educational outreach - Encourage engagement through a native landscaping clinic and plant giveaway, hands-on activities,
games, and art - Promote volunteer opportunities with a “Community Engagement Corner” where attendees can learn
about and sign up with different local environmental groups - Be a community-wide inclusive and neurodivergent-friendly event for all ages
